Poem -
Let Him Sleep
As I lay looking at your sweet face
I see the sun warming your skin
I want to kiss those lips with tender grace
I watch you sleep while the thought of last night makes me grin
I never thought I could feel this way
My heart feels like it will explode inside my chest
How do you do it how do you know what to say?
I want to wake you, deep in your arms I want to rest.
Instead I watch you sleep
Tracing every part of you hiding it in my mind
So when were a part I can reminisce on you my love my one who is sweet
I want to stay in this moment forever and leave this world behind
