Poem -

Let it be

Let it be

As I go up the stairs hard breathing
I thank you

For the end
Of an unwashed winter
Where there is nothing but muddy snow and gravel
Spring I am grateful

Seed that is born aloft in summer
Wind that spills its way out and under
All the plants in the meadow
All the ripples of the sea
My heart fill towards you

Kind cruel relentless earth
Let it be
