Let Me

Let Me

Let me absorb your pain
Let me be your shelter to cover you in the rain
Let me be the reason why you smile
Let me take your tears once in a while
Let me hold your hand and tell you everything is going to be alright
Let me hug you through the night
Let me let me let me . . .
But if you say no
I won’t put up a fight
Cause I respect you that much
I’ll say good bye
From the bottom of my heart
But don’t get it twisted
Don’t listen to what them pagans say
If I loved you that much I would of stayed
No matter what
Even if it is against your wishes . . .
I wasn’t rise that way.
I was told to respect a women
Like you would do with your mother.
I promise you passionate  and a stress free future
But life a bitch so don’t hold that against me
Just hold my hand and come take a walk with me.
