Let Me Sleep In The Bush

It takes two to maintain a house with two kitchens
So give me a bed in the bush and call it a night
Two cant walk together unless they agree friends
I can find my sweetest sleep right there by candle light

My house coat, slippers, cats to keep down any snakes
Fifteen gallons of purified water, all it takes
No telling what I can do in a bush for peace sakes
A lil bleach, Dettol, basin and a potty, and cakes

I'll take on a whole tribe of mice, the spider stays
Cause mosquitoes and flies, can be lunch or brunch for them
Hollering bats, thickness of the bush hiding the moons rays
Can beat back the roughest thugs, shine a light, eyes of those

When I creep out from leaves with my hat tilted
My shoes shining like new money, don't be offended
Where I come from, we know how to tame our spirit
And do what we do, cause it comes recommended

Let me sleep in the bush, till the birds call me sir
Let me eat from the selected horizon that day
Only let me begin and end each day with prayer
Let me make my home in the bush, till I find my way
