When the Bluebird Finally Sings

From my Raven Collection

When the Bluebird Finally Sings

From my sorrow I did borrow
a hanky for my tears
I borrowed from my sorrow
for days, months, maybe even years?
see, sorrow has no tomorrow
as tomorrow is just today
when yesterday was tomorrow
and today, forever filled with tears
a little piece of light, alas
for me is peeping through
my hanky is now vintage
my heart no longer blue
tomorrow came, it's now today
my grief has disappeared
from my sorrow I did borrow
a hanky for my tears.

I can't account for the grief. I was in an altercation with an old friend, though.
I gave my best

Nice play on time, the vintage hanky and the hope, many tomorrows may pass through the tears but yes, a dry day may come indeed... Happy for you..
