Let the Words Be Risky
Let the words be risky and sprawling
Let the mystery become austere
Into the fires and stars I shall take you
Into the vast pervasive silence
I came to call you inward
I left to dissolve myself
Into the past I shall be rendered
Apart from the present indeed
I have come to call my name
Since it has echoed in my soul
It is a whispering thread that leads
Into the world of flesh and bone
Tears fall into an ocean of lights
Lit by the glowing light of dreams
Into the spirit world and back to see
How beautiful your face remains
When it is thinking of only me

Simply stunning! There is a sense of timeless infinity within your poem. The ever chasing spiritual journey that is endless and infinite as the universe is ever expanding and dissolving, evolving. So many beautiful words creating such transcendental imagery throughout this well crafted piece. It reads effortlessly and fluid. This is so up my alley and will be enjoyed again :)

Yep, I agree with all the above, and if the Cosmos was yo to me, this would definitely be a competition winner. The thing is, with this one you have managed to walk the fine line between relatable and truly memorizing. Sometimes poets get lost in the words, other times their message lacks emotion.
