A letter to Earth from Man

Dear Earth,

I must confess, 

I love you no more,

I used to but those thoughts slowly faded from me. . .

Indoctrinated by greedy capitalist society we all serve.

A prison we think of as life.

As I reflect back on the years,

I see how my selfish desires for self gain have destroyed you.

You are the mother who bore me children of,

-Sweet Water-

-Delightful Crops

and Energetic Sun-

At the expense of your once so round and voluptuous figure.

And cliched as it may be . . .

I cant live without you,

I can't survive without you.

I promise to take care of you,

Love you whatever it takes, 

Water our love so that it may once again bloom.

When all said and done,

Your winds will till end of time whistle swiftly from East to West,

And the rain will fall just like it always has.

The question is . . .

WILL-I-MAN-ALSO-REMAIN ?
