my pain runs wild like the currents of great river
swallowing anyone who dares obstructs is veracious flow
Even the friendly lily that grows on its banks
is mercilessly destroyed by these unforgiving gulfs
 
oh dear beautiful lily, i'm sorry that you too
have fallen victim to these ruthless waters,
that destroy indiscriminately,
your only crime, is growing up near chaos
And your beauty, ever so amplified by the golden shimmering sun rays,
Finally, your simplicity,
that always served as a reminder,
that there was more in this world besides these rapids of pain that surrounded you.

I find it strange though,
that the weapon of your ending,
Was also the catalyst for your beginning,
the duality of life,
Even your greatest strengths are your greatest weakness,
When the environment changes,
In this cosmological paradox we live in,
This fleeting experience called life.
