Steady oh steady Heart of mine
Allow each pulse to drive home 
The pain, the poison, the poison
Pause not, Stay not Oh Heart mine

Passion passionately born yesterday 
Today indeed the very same canals birth
Distaste, disregard, disagreement on end
But steady oh steady heart of mine
Lest you quicken and miss a beat

Dear Romeo, I am in the process
Yet again of penning you a letter
You may recall my hands  waver
And now my heart has begun to flutter
Ever since I gleaned your correspondence

I understand from your context
That much recently arrived in text
That my love for you scares you
Yet I insist, I refuse the bottle of poison
You have  so aptly labelled as Friendship...
