Letters from Heaven

Dear Mum, I know I left you
โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹and my leaving made you sad
so i'm writing just to tell you
being here is not so bad.

My angel friend he asked me
who I'm watching all the time,
I told him it was you mum
just to make sure you are fine.

And when you're feeling all alone
I'll wrap and hold you tight,
I'll whisper stories in your ear,
you're not alone tonight.

I am with you every second
of every minute, every day
and though you may not see me,
โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹with you I'll always stay.

I hear you cry my name sometimes
I call yours now and then.
Don't cry for me, remember
one day we'll meet again.

Your Loving Son.
