Poem -

Life

When life knocks you down
You fall hard onto the ground
You lay there spread eagled and motionless
Head filling with memories of which you are'nt proud
Thinking of how people let you down
Because of who you are
The decisions you made
Come haunting everyday
You feel vunerable and weak
And peace is what you seek
You get up and walk
Into your room
Door locked
You pull out a rope
And tie it to the rafter
Around your neck and think what comes after,
After you let go, your parents come in
They cry and scream making a scene
The people who raised you and taught you how to walk
Those same people are now putting you under a rock.
