Life

Life

Standing among the stones.
Wind whirling, head swirling.
I look around and all I see is bones.
People pointing,Priests praying.
A shovel scraping along the concrete
the bell bangs once.
The digger starts digging,
Children crying women wailing.
The gates have opened tears fill my eyes like water fills a sink.
Its over its done  I cover my eyes.I say
I am fine but we know that is lies
my head tilts towards the sky
the clouds separate an event which I am most familiar.
Thunder Thumps in the sky
like her heart used to before she said.
Goodbye.

This poem is an alliteration lover's wet dream, Ben, heh-heh.
I gotta admit, I enjoyed the topic.
Nice work!
