HAIKU

Hi Sister Poetess Valerie Lynn,

Excellent haiku from your golden pen, I am inspired by this above poem, I shall scribble something  for your reading,

Though I have never seen you before,

 When I gaze into your oceanic eyes,

I see smiles, laughter, and endless energy.

What will I do, when the world we live in

when the friends we love,

doesn't know I am suffering,

I feel the scars

On my heart

My arms tired

My wrists tortured,

And I think back to a time

 when I was truly alone

I could scribble a thousand lines, good luck, God bless

I love Haikus because they force the writer to condense what is so often a rambling thought stream. This one is especially powerful it addresses the three main time frames we face(past, present, future) it is full of wisdom for living a life of peace and joy, the simple gratitude for things we've endured whether good or bad, the fact is we've endured and we're still alive to experience these emotions when many failed to wake today..
