I can not believe I am approaching 50. It only seems like yesterday that I was in the flush of youth ! Still, I have made the most of the years I have had and am now content with where I am. Hoping you are content with what you've done and where you are.
I hope you are only half way finished with your journey. You have made the most of your first fifty, now it's time to boogie through the next half. May I be the first to wish you a most happy 50th birthday. As for me, life has had its share of ups and downs, but I am looking forward also to making it past one hundred. Thank you for your kind words.
Richard 50 is just anther day you will get up go to work and go home it was just nother day for me when I turned 50, I do hope you will have great birthday and have lots fun peace and love to you
Hey Sweet Larry....This is lovely and thought provoking....sometimes I wonder where all the years have flown to.... I my remember my childhood days vividly as if it was just yesterday....enjoyed this...another Haiku for my wall
To quote a very wise persons words, " What a pity, that youth is wasted on the young". It seems as when we are young, we take those days for granted and they are squandered with immature hearts that, in our later years, pine for their return. So sad.
Lo Ran Zen......I bow down in humility at the wisdom flowing from your haiku's.......amazing brother poet!!........ALL STARS....... impressive!!........T xo. ?
As my master bows down and praises my Haikus, I make sure to bow lower than him for, it is known that the students head should never be higher than his beloved kings.
short and full of wisdom brings to mind a hymn i sing one day at a time sweet jesus tommorow may never be mine one day at a time sweet jesus keep writing linda
As one so fortunate to reach his golden years, I look back on my life, which has seemed to fly by. To me, those years, that as a youth, we took for granted, are now gone forever, as we face the final stage of our life. Some will have a very long run, while others will only get one curtain call.
