Life Force
Softly whisper in my ear,
Touch my simple wet tear.
Listen to my crying pain!
Feel my heart going lame!
See the light; that flickers off,
Reach for heaven's; Spirit soft!
Inhale all fair beauty lost,
Remove treasured family; cost!
Taste the bitter and the sweet,
Rolled in rice paper; so neat.
Hear distant terse ship bell toll,
Even it doth vibrate; cold!
Direct my dark wayward course!
Coalesce my begging; life force!

Hello Jim,
this is a beautiful read. The journey of life and its emotional trials. I loved the structure. Those chosen words that almost whisper in my left ear as I read. Very clever and really brings this piece to another level. How it shines at the end with its last line! To feel complete within the true light and energy of life itself
