Life In General

One day you're born, one day you die
And ev'rything inbetween's called life
You grow old tryna be yourself
In a world where you're supposed to be someone else
But no one ever tells you how to find
That elusive thing called peace of mind
So you run for what they say is right
With weary legs and blinded sight
So walk the ancient road of man
And try your best to understand
Piece the puzzle, pay the price
Learn how not to roll the dice
They tell you what you have to be
But all you have to be is free
My, don't the days float by
Like a lazy cloud in a summer sky
Through all the things that a life must be
Like a tiny raft in a stormy sea
And as for you, have you paid the cost?
Have you lived and died, Have you loved and lost?
So walk the crumbling road of man
And try your best to understand
Of why we're filled up full of lies
Like dirty social compromise
They tell you what you have to do
But all you have to do is be you

you have tried to capture the eternal human dilemma of choosing between what others say and what our  heart wants ... very aptly."all you have to do is be you" ...... so true.
