Life In General

One day you're born, one day you die
And ev'rything inbetween's called life
You grow old tryna be yourself
In a world where you're supposed to be someone else
But no one ever tells you how to find
That elusive thing called peace of mind
So you run for what they say is right
With weary legs and blinded sight

So walk the well-worn path of man
And try your best to understand
Just why we're filled up full of lies
Like dirty social compromise
They tell you what you have to be
But all you have to be is free

Walk the ancient path of man
And try your best to understand
Why society wants your square peg soul
To fit into its neat round hole
They tell you what you have to do
But all you have to do is be you
