Life Is Beautiful

The storm has past and the
rain is gone.
The sunshine has peaked out in a fresh new dawn;
The birds are singing there
in my window pane.
I try to sing along but don't quite sound the same.
I walk outside and take a deep breath of fresh air,
I close my eyes as I thank God for His love and tender care.
What a beautiful life, I whisper in the wind,
And I feel a sense of joy and happiness ripple from within
It's been a long and bumpy
road it seems,
Although some memories I wish were only just a dream.
But I've made it through,
O' sweet life how I love you.
At this moment, I'm so happy, filled with joy inside of me,
As I look around and smile of all the wonders that I see.
There is so much I am thankful for,
And I realize this now much more than ever before.
Life is so precious and beautiful, but so are you,
Just close your eyes, take a deep breath and you'll feel
The warmth and love surrounding you.
Everyone is special, yes, that's very true,
Just look deep into a mirror and smile and there you'll find it too,
Yes, it's that beautiful reflection staring back at you.
Life is beautiful, but so are you.
