LIFE ON THE OUTSIDE

LIFE ON THE OUTSIDE

LIFE ON THE OUTSIDE

Lord, I smile as I stare out my window

Feeling proud that I cleared off my desk

I'm feeling grateful I'm alive, and as I looked up at heaven

I ask you my Lord, "What comes next"

I wonder as I stare out my window

What would my life be like now in the world?

It's been years, now I feel am ready

To show society something different, and let my dreams unfurl

I've been in isolation for so long, that it's frightening

To think of me being out there, trying to keep up

With the rigorous s schedule and daily madness

And, seeing the stress in my friends faces, it never lets up

Technology did not give us much freedom

Nor, did it make our lives more reformed

People run twenty-four seven to the sound of a beep

And even on vacation, they still carry a phone

Lord, these angels are under such daily pressure

I worry each day for their beautiful minds and their health

It seems the harder they work, the more that they'll have

And sadly some will stab you in the back, just to accumulate wealth

Dear Lord, the little that I see of life from my window

Makes me wonder if I really need to venture out

My home is my castle; I am no longer in pain's prison

And each thing that I learn is giving me more clout

Bless these angels, my Lord, and if they need to keep running

Guide them away from any more of life's stress

We all have you to lean on, dear Father

And we will always strive to show you our best….

Technology didn't change our lives for the better.....it's a way we are found quicker...and we have to join in the dance that beckons....

Time, when it's gone...is gone forever....saying "I'm sorry" gets lost in the clutter.....Moments are to be cherished....with family, with friends....with yourself most of all.....

God bless angels, may you find the time to relax, laugh, dance and sing...on this last leg of your journey :)

Hello Angel  thank you for your beautiful note...It's unfortunate that we are taken out of society by so many things.....and having to deal with the isolation, pain unfortunately leads to sometimes a lifetime of depression.....but we are survivors...and we fight hard to get back out....to stay....is one dream I won't give up on.....

.you are beautiful and one of God's angel....your spirt and words are inspiring and reminds us of our courage and strength, faith and hope that will continue long after we leave this beautiful earth...
Have a great life and writing journey :)
God Bless
