Life Plays

Once upon a dark moon
Love flew out of my hands
No more a confused toon
I begot an encaged fence
In there, I learned to dance
To the play of life
To the play of fate
When she decides to wait
For me to grab the bait
Of all that leaves me insatiate

Once upon a dark moon
I learned to swoon
At the real
At the spiritual
Instead of indulging in the unreal
For that which shows us the boreal
Has Beauty in its shell
Yet, it is a mere temporary apparel

Thus singeth my own lyre
Seek, seek, that which is beyond the pyre!
