Lifer

 Mocking motions of ceiling fansÂ
Starving mind, watching shadowsÂ
GrowÂ
The lengthÂ
Soon a darkened room,Â
Mighty swords swingÂ
More than the mightier pen;Â
While stagnant wordsÂ
Lay crumbledÂ
In failure balls of paperÂ
That missed the buzzer beater shotÂ
Now litter, a vast floorÂ
Creaking full of laughter aroundÂ
Rejections wastebasket.Â
Ideas flicker, first like a strobeÂ
Going dark as a burnt out bulbÂ
BlankÂ
As a piece of pearly vellum,Â
If my head wasn't spinningÂ
I'd swear....Â
This torture chamber was,Â
And soon realizeÂ
With limitation's chainsÂ
Insanity shackles,Â
Surmise....Â
Gray matter's executionerÂ
Hindering....Â
Imperfect scrawl.Â
......sentenced, imprisonedÂ
...............Captivated, behindÂ
........Words....sentences....paragraphs...Â
Poems, StoriesÂ
Books

Iam definitely a lifer stuck in these thoughts and ideas. I don't even know how I end up in that writing about writers block it's weird. I am really experimenting with the prose, and there are so many talented writers lately putting out some inspiring stuff and im taking it all in. Glad you digged it big bro and I appreciate your encouragement, always.
