LIFE'S MURAL

LIFE'S MURAL

Each year, we add some color
To the mural, of our life
Each day, we add a stroke
To make, the etchings rife

Since we cannot detach
Our canvas from its frame
Or, restart this masterpiece
Of our life, again

We must glaze and seal
The good we do
And remask and refinish
As mistakes accrue

So mix your glaze and pigments
With the very best of care
Because the texture of our life
Leave our imprints everywhere

CAN'T and DON'T

If you can’t be
The star in the sky
Then don’t be
The fly in the pie
