A little more give,
A little less take.
A little more calm,
A little less ache.
A little more truth,
A little less lies.
A little more love,Β Β
A little less despise.
A little more admit,
A little less deny.
A little more honest,
A little less sly.
A little more active,
A little less lazy.
A little more clear,
A little less hazy.
A little more yes,
A little less no.
A little more light,
A little less shadow.
A little more build,
A little less destroy.
A little more help,
A little less annoy.Β
A little more courage,
A little less fear.
A little more smile,
A little less sneer.
A little more we,
A little less I.
A little more help.
A little less sigh.
A little more live,
A little less die.
Life's yin and yang,
To accept or deny.

Tony thank you for most gracious comment and I'm a happy poetry bunny in more ways than one.
Love to write a positive one and God forgive me, a dark one too.
And this bunny is now mightily uplifted and can see the poetry wood from the trees.
I know you enjoyed Archangel Trilogy still unfinished and now a quadilogy and boy oh boy what a tour de force comment you left on it.
That's what I'm trying to complete (fingers crossed) by this Easter Monday and been out of the frame here recently.
So in two weeks I'll put up the latest version for your good self, ending just before the battle begins (simply setting things up, expostion wise and rewriting the first part for later payoffs) and for my daughter who also enjoyed it.
Be seeing and reading you tomorrow night my friend and thank you so much for your support.
And it's funny how one word when writing poetry, just one word, can sometimes change the course of a poem and it's outcome.
Stay safe good Tony and poetry kudos and respect to you.

a little right on! a little less gone! love it Shaun!........................................Jim
Jim nice one!! Glad you enjoyed it and I could have been there writing and adding it till the cows came home.
For sometimes a little less is a little more.
And will be reading one of yours in a mo and a few other members also, I have a week off work soon and need it, but over the next few nights will be chipping away to read other members also and just want to finish one and finally put it to bed.
Might post the odd one or two also in it's runup.
But in the meantime will find time to read more.
Thanks again Jim and remain poetry enriched and the good man you are.

Β
Shaun this is so wonderful to read out loud my friend. It is tuneful as it trips off the tongue. Made me think of the song A Little Time by the Beautiful South to start with. Then it took me deeper again and that yin yang life beats its drum to shined wonderfully. I must agree with our Jim A little less gone and a little more on would be wonderful. How your poetry is missed my friend. Be well and all the bestΒ

Β
Gwen many thanks and thanks again for the memory bubble also!!!
A Little Time by the Beautiful South is an amazing song with those twin vocals with their distinct male and female superb voices almost duelling and vying to get their point over.
And Jim is a star here on Cosmo, like you and so many more.
Be well yourself and those around you also.
I'm off now to visit one of your poems and more to follow as the weeks progress.
Thanks again Gwen and all the best to you also. x.Β

Thanks again Lisa and call me dreamer, but it's so darned good to dream.

Really lovely write Shaun and it flows so well...a pleasure to read x
Marion I'm pleased as punch you enjoyed it and yes another message poem, one I thought had to be aired.
It all goes back to Ella Wheeler Wilcox and her writing, an often moral message at the end of her poems.
My favourite poet or poetess in these respected equality times.
And if it wasn't for discovering her magnificent Two Glasses poem, I wouldn't have written a single poem.
Thanks again Marion and more catching up tomorrow.
Nos da for now. x.
