Poem -

Light foam

White caps roll over. White caps roll over and over. White caps roll over, and over, and over. Drowning my toes. Swallowing my feet. Like some creature at the sea bed floor sucking in it's helpless victim. The warm foam greets me like a warm embrace. Yet the feeling isn't mutual. The sea isn't my friend. It doesn't love me like it pretends.

It's waiting. Luring all around me. Sniffing my flesh. I walk farther in to the mouth. Deeper. Deeper. Deeper. Until I fall. I feel the tide pull me down. Sucking. Slupping. Sliding. My figure limb in the tides. Light fades into darkness. I am no longer a whole. Just another soul.

In the darkness.

this is so metaphorical. in my eyes it represents love, life and the vicissitudes thereof. we are always taken under by the storm. but luckily, we rise.
