Like Minds
What do I want to say?
So much on my mind.
It's hard to put into words,
As this would define.
How do you explain love,
One that's opposed,
To keep it hidden,
Deeply in the soul.
Wishing to confide,
With so much to tell,
Wanting to be heard,
Yet silenced to dispell.
I know you understand,
As you always have with me,
So this not so complicated,
To be heard, not seen.
Thoughts of you bring joy,
Days of darkness I bear,
But knowing you exist,
It's a memory we share.
