Lily-Rose

The first time I met you
I called you beautiful
While you blushed
I blushed and
Covered my mouth for the
Truth of an interaction
Has no bearing in corporate walls
So I hid myself
And developed a sore tooth
While your beauty grew
Reaching out like a high branch
Of cherry blossom
And I learned of your music
And I caught a glimpse of your soul
While I am too damned old
For any hope
Such as your young, velvet touch
I praise your being
From the hidden low valleys
Of dementia
Of longing
Of lost time and missed opportunity
I sing of your praises in discorded tonial
Cry's
No harmony such as that which you
Expound, unified
As if the body of christ
Had hid itself between your ribs
Smiling out through your breast
Which again, having caught a glimpse of
I blushed at the bosom
Of your holy love
Which, at the time,
Was allotted for mean headed
Adolescent men
Who mocked your curves with blind lust
For the plastic world
But you learned,
You learned to see the buddha eye peering
Out your soul
And you met that gaze with profound
Elation, dare not did you stir
Or falter from the vision
Such beauty in a tri-fold collaboration
Of body, mind and spirit
The ultimate sex of existence
The holiest of ghosts which never haunted
Me,
Only kept my hurting memory soothed
With hope which is not mine
With hope which is wild
As strawberry on the mountain's edge
With hope that is not mine
But elates me to places I've seldom been
Outside of dying
And you went to live with the elephants
For a short time
Which was a long time
As is all time,
Where you found your self
There with out self
Such beautiful things I can not help but
Pluck from the stem of my mind
As if a lily-rose
To smell and to hold
Now in the desperate dark
Of my lonely inward
Wandering.

This is a stunning piece of poetic prose RANDY!!......In Love's longing there exists a beauty that is often difficult to capture in words......but you've done it here .....exceptionally well......with a finely crafted sense of imagery and metaphor tumbling through time's gray area and leaving an astounding array of poetic phrasing to delight the minds eye of the reader......and fixing the power of hope well anchored in this brilliant work......I hope this not just a fiction.....for it would be a most delightful day to witness the inspiration behind this write actually reading your masterfully delivered poetic yearning!! (smiles) PINNED!!......a triumph!!......bravo brother poet!!......LOVE and ROCKETS!!.......T xo ?☀✴✳
