The Lion, so strong and fiery
Royalty of the finest choice
He thinks to walk alone, quietly
Seeking a "deserver" of his royal voice
Came upon an Eagle one day
Whose eyes and soul were water-taught
In this Eagle, he observed his power and his passion
"Therein as strong as I!" he thought.
" But fire and water jointly, cannot be."
Spoke the Lion with eyes so wide
"Lest the flames burn upon the wood,
That floats gracefully with the tide!"
Responded the Eagle boldly,
Almost smolderingly.
" Yes, it can be done
Floating flames, on the river
Of our completely different lives.
Striving, driving, contriving
Together, a vital force"
For Love & Friendship, like a craft upon the sea
Is stronger when manned by two
Sang, the Lion and the Eagle
In perfect
Harmony....
