Poem -
Lionheart
It is when all my careful planning has gone astray,
Stubbornness and determination come into play !
Quickly knuckling down to put everything straight,
I am unwilling to accept my ambitions must wait !
.............................................
It is when an outcome I expect seems improbable,
Energies are employed to the absolute maximum !
Not willing to admit defeat, I doggedly persevere,
Making every hindrance and obstacle disappear !
..............................................
Rewards are much more if the struggles are harder,
Satisfaction of achieving success being far greater !
Life can be so tough, incapable of taking prisoners.
I respond with a fortitude which never diminishes !
