some things under theĀ Ā Ā
sun and skyĀ Ā
attract and catch myĀ Ā Ā
fancyĀ Ā
Quite queerly theyĀ Ā Ā
happen to beĀ Ā
hot melting smeltingĀ Ā Ā
solidsĀ Ā
that melt into exquisiteĀ Ā Ā
liquids.Ā Ā
Take for instance heatedĀ Ā Ā
liquid goldĀ Ā
molten glass or moltenĀ Ā Ā
brassĀ Ā
and to watch magmaĀ Ā Ā
'neath the earth's foldĀ Ā
Ooh I love just about anyĀ Ā Ā
melting mass.Ā Ā
Ā
With similar bizarreĀ Ā Ā
ecstasy and fascinationĀ Ā
I like to watchĀ
onscreen molten lavaĀ Ā
Gliding in serpentineĀ Ā Ā
turns, oblivious of myĀ Ā Ā
admirationĀ Ā
Ah, I just love all thatĀ Ā Ā
golden molten mass .Ā
Liquidised metal, liquid fire
I just don't ever tire
Ā
Sometimes I even haveĀ Ā Ā
such an eccentric cravingĀ Ā
to watch just any solidĀ Ā Ā
beauty melting smeltingĀ Ā
that I satisfy this cravingĀ Ā Ā
by simply imaginingĀ Ā
the honey to be someĀ Ā Ā
liquid fire gold glowingĀ Ā Ā
in a crystal clear jar andĀ Ā Ā
liken it toĀ Ā
metallic gold syrup inĀ Ā Ā
the furnace burningĀ Ā
As if it were stagnantĀ Ā Ā
mini-lavaĀ Ā
right before me churning !Ā Ā
Ā
As for other mesmericĀ Ā Ā
thingsĀ Ā
that I find real eye-Ā Ā
catchingĀ Ā
are those whichĀ Ā Ā
everybody else findsĀ Ā Ā
ravishing.Ā Ā
And they are in all shineĀ Ā
dazzling diamond dustĀ Ā
Glittery terrestrial goldĀ Ā Ā
dustĀ Ā
in mankind's metallicĀ Ā Ā
materialistic lust.!Ā Ā
Ā
Or even magical celestial stardustĀ Ā
in heavenly mould and castĀ Ā Ā

I know exactly what you mean here! There's something weirdly satisfying watching molten liquids (metal or glass or rock) being poured. The way they twist molten glass amazes me... I could watch it for ages. I pinned the poem because I can really relate to it. Great poem x

As most have said, the flow is bloody brilliant, but I'd also like to say, I love how you structured this poem. Every line seems to track onto the next as a clear continual train of thought, sometimes this loses the engagement of the audience, but not for me, I read the whole way through. Enjoyed this one heaps thank you for referring me to it.
