Very heartfelt write, your emphasis with the repetition of “Listen” made it really dramatic and fed into the emotions more as it kept me engaged without stealing the spotlight from the other words .

I wrote it with a beat in my head as if someone is rapping the lyrics........the words are in the style to go with a beat I think x thank you for your lovely comment
That makes sense , I like to freestyle and read some of my writes to YouTube instrumental beats , it can give a write an extra dimension . Very neat and enjoyable . I’m a fan :)
It is a real shame that I can't do the vocals as I would like to hear this as a song with a beat x
