LITTLE JOHNNY'S FIRST VISIT TO A CIRCUS

Little Johnny Briggs has never been to a circus before
I know that he will enjoy for certain and sure
His eyes full of wonder at the high flying trapeze
Laughing loudly at the clown who is guaranteed to please

The ringmaster controls the elephants to do fancy tricks
The jugglers balancing balls, balloons and bricks
Johnny wonders how the men eat fire
Amazed at the sight of the lady on the high wire

When it's time to go home at the end of the show
Little Johnny Briggs will want to come again I know
