Little Donkey😞

Little Donkey😞

Down the dusty, dirty road a wornout, weary Donkey dragged its heavy load, there was blisters on the bottom of his shoeless soles, but this agonized Ass was on his routine of regular payrolls..

He brought a mere pittance of pesetas to the man in the street, such a worthless sacrifice for the shocking state of this mule’s feet..as he tirelessly trudged up and down through the hard broken cobbles in the narrowed lanes of this quaint Spanish town..Hour after hour and twenty four seven whilst passerby’s watched on thinking this scenic sight was sheer heaven..just like those awesome ancient stories that are constantly told, when Mary carried baby Jesus in the parables from the biblical tales so old..

But alas this dirty Donkey will not go down in history, his pathetic plight is one of only misery..yet an Ass of an animal cannot moan nor utter a voice of complain as he suffers sore bodily bones from the heavy weight strain..One can only look on with curiousity and wonder does his master feed him love and adoration? from the sad, sorry situation he is continuously under..

No...he doesn't get any love or attention and barely enough food Jill...donkeys are treated abominably all over the world Jill. People are bastards and nobody will ever convince me any different!! Thank god there are several organisations doing their best for them but one angel fighting a thousand devils doesn't leave them much hope!! But then...it's just a donkey isn't it!!! 😩😫😫😣😔😔

Being Me

I used to have a donkey. Cocoa. Sweet little thing. My eldest used to ride her when he was a toddler and she really looked after him. She was well loved. My heart goes out to the overworked donkeys..especially the brick kiln donkeys (and horses in Egypt). I have to say though, the donkey in the picture looks well fed. Even his mane has been trimmed correctly. But he is carrying a huge load in the hot sun poor thing 😭 that is never good. Fabulous awareness write Jill x
