Little Fish

Wisdom vs intellect 

Introspective interception 
Of a thought and its intention

Vs what is taught 
through repetition, 

like walking

But a fish out of water cant walk
So Unthought of, dismissed 

As the system ignores him 
Distorting his vision,

Importance within him is missing,
Unsure what he's for 

He resorts to his mission
Recalling his gifts
 
Little fish
Listening to his calling
Persistent, 
enduring It all

Though the shore 
looked so distant before.

Through exploring found wisdom.

Adrift in the awe 
Of his element

Dawn of his relevance 

Falls for his arrogance 
Sure of intelligence.

Caution ignored,
Feeling flawless
sees nothing but sea

Never saw he 
Could soar with the pelicans.
