A LITTLE FLAME OF LOVE
Looking forward to the new year
Anticipating love and romance
Hoping that this time I get the chance
To win at love and do a victory dance.
Rekindling old fire is not my desire
But rather building on that new flame
The one that crept into my heart
When I was about to go insane.
You settled my heart
And gave me a brand new start
You are my new found love
The antidote to my pain
Because of you I can love again
With tenderness you rapture my soul
You brought me in from the cold
So let the old year and its failures be forgotten
As we enter into that which is new
And declare to the world
What a little flame of love can do.
