Little harvest mouse 🐭

Little harvest mouse 🐭

Little harvest mouse, be so careful where you play
Mr. Morton the farmer
Is busy today, he is diligently harvesting and making his hay

Whilst the scorching sun shines, he will be treading on your toes, with his colossal combines

I am sure he will not see you, You are only rather small
So please heed my advice, there is a cavity in the wall

Scurry, down along that furrow, turn left and straight ahead
Now if you look on your righthand side, there is a paddock with a shed

You will be made very welcome, there are two field mice living there
I have sent them a little message, so they are happily aware

Hasten on your way,
my tiny fearless mouse
Hurry, here comes the combine harvestor, ‘Happiness in your new house’

I loved the pic and your poem. Good job! I just posted "Inside the Burrow" about your mouse's cousin who lives in the desert.
