Little River
A poem and a song.
Little River singing your song,
Ever so softly I hum along,
Babbling brooks and rushing streams,
Sing your songs beside the evergreens.
Little River so icy and cold,
Ever so gently I release my hold,
Swept down to the waterfall,
There is Hades at his door,
The nasty cold of the rushing stream,
Sends me into my waking dreams.
Little River so strong and fast,
Ever so quickly recalling my past,
Darling child how long will it be,
I can already see the great blue sea.
Little River singing my song,
Ever so proudly I sing along,
Flitting fairies and laughing trees,
singing our song with mirth and glee.

This does quite ring like a song! A beautiful one at that. I'm enjoying your nature poems :)
