Poem -

Little Things

Lately I have been whirling, caught in the wind, my mind twirling.

I have been lost, in my darkeness, drunk and broken I've become.

My mind it hurts, thanks to my stupidity, I made it worse.

A drunk I am no more, no longer passed out, blank on the floor.

Thanks to four little words, I see what's worth fighting for.

When I hear you say " I love you daddy", and the little things, help me find my happy.

A little too late, too late I'm afraid, for daddy damaged his brain.

When you drink, you do stupid things, I beat the crap outta me.

Now it hurts to think, but I keep going, no longer lost to drink.

It's all thanks to you, and all your little things, I love you my girls, I love you my queens.
