Living

In this state of mind

At this corner of 

A bright light

Shining in my 

Heart

In this moment

Of pure understanding

Accepting what I cannot

Change

Knowing that this feeling

This knowing

Will not last as long

As I had hoped

Gone the second I know

What is to be true

Snatched away

Replaced by the familiar 

Confusion

Wrapped in utter desperation

Followed by fear and pain

I wish to learn 

I need guidance as how 

To hold on to the light

So that everday is filled with

Joy

Knowing that this moment

Will become forever
