LIVING BY MY OWN CODE

LIVING BY MY OWN CODE

Many wait on the world for a handoutĀ
With all that's there for the taking, they wait it out.
Life begins with a cry, Ā a few years of laughter,Ā
And then you die.

Ā I live by my code, standing tall and true
In a world that tries to shape me, I chart my view.
I harness the power of resilience and graceĀ
Embracing challenges, I find my place.

Dancing to the beat of my drum
Unswayed by opinions, I am my sum.
I am a warrior, a dreamer, a soul unbound,
With courage as my compass, I navigate the unknown.

I am the architect of my faithĀ
Living by my own rules, I do not wait or hesitate.
In a society that seeks to confine and define
I break free with radiance and shine.

I defy conformity and break through the moldĀ
Smashing walls as I kick down the doors.
So let them whisper, let them gossip and scorn,
For I live by my code, from dusk till dawn.
