Living Hell

Some may ponder the existence of heaven and hell.
I can confirm for you that there is a hell;
I'm living it.
This world is an inferno;
All that is great is torn away from us.
Why?
Those shining brightest,
Loving unconditionally,
Stripped from our lives
Leaving gaping holes in our hearts,
Echoes in our now empty souls.
Open wounds,
Left to fester.
