Living in darkness

We look the window to see the everyday life,
but fail to see what is beyond that. 
When it comes time for something to be done, 
We’ll say oh well I don’t feel like doing that, I’ll do it tomorrow.
The truth of the matter is we never get around to it,
Because we may “get busy” or we may “forget.
I believe it’s because we stay in our head, and believe the lies we tell ourselves.
These are the moments of Darkness that will entice us, 
It will tell us we’re not enough, 
But it’s not true,
Stray away from the lies,
And look to The Skies.
For the moment of Darkness has long been defeated.
