LIVING IN THE MOMENT

They say all is fair in love and war

to the victor, goes the spoils

the trial and tribulations of past

lives gone

invisible wounds, in time of turmoil

we laugh and smile

we suffer we cry, compassionate

are we, heartfelt pain for the masses

tears all dried up, the pain subsides

no feelings, numb to all around us

rejoicing in the moment, for it won't last long

this we know for sure, like the sun rise

and sunsets

so we enjoy the moment, cause it's all we have

living out the best days we have left
