London

London

I love London
lucky to have
it on your doorstep
strolling through Covent Garden,
bustling on the tube..
Picidilli circus full of clown dodging
arriving at Kingscross,
the fabulous iron mongery
of St. Pancras, which was made
by one of the first industrial giants
the Butterly company,,
of Ilkly  (ba'r tat)
Camden lock, full of colourful
intensity, the West End a
grand theatrical performance..
the last boat back from the O2
on the Thames, ripping up a splash,
The roof top bar in The Trafalga hotel,
you can look down on Nelsons hat,
just a spit from the National Gallery
Belgo, chicken to die for..
the Oxo..the big fat Gherkin,
Tower Bridge the Commons, the Lords
the Palace, and Qxford street madness
and just loads and loads more,
and I adore your Pearly Queens
up the Mile End, Portobello shopping
it's nothing like here up North where
the Eskimo's live..
vive la difference !!!
