Over crowded buses to taxi drops 
The traffic of London never stops 
People on tubes like sardines in a can
Looking for a destination part of their plan

Japanese tourists heading to Leicester Square 
Knowing space on a pavement is really rare
I listen to conversations and the chat 
Hearing about this and sometimes that 

Cardboard messages written are there to read
People fallen on hard times and in desperate need
So many observations to hear and see 
No wonder nobody notices the likes of me
