It was hard for me to do
I never got a reply

A passing comment on the weather
Or how busy your weekend was.

Maybe this time, you’ll reply 
After a few hours
Maybe you apologise like you always do for not speaking.
You should stop that, I don’t mind waiting

Maybe I annoy you
But I still want to hear your voice
Even if it’s a lonely little conversation 

Do you not reply from hate ?
Do you not reply from love ?
Do my words bore you so ?
Why is it so hard to talk to you ?
