Lonely Man's Tango
ahh

In a dimly lit room, he dances alone
With nothing but memories to call his own
The music plays on, his heart's endless song
As he tangoes with loneliness all night long
Ā
His steps are precise, his movements so slow
The pain in his heart begins to flow
He spins and he twirls, in a graceful display
But the emptiness inside never goes away
Ā
The rhythm of the tango is all he has left
In this lonely dance, he feels so bereft
He reaches out, but there's no one to hold
No partner to dance with, no one to enfold
Ā
He remembers the past, when he had it all
But now, he's left alone to face the night's call
The music fades away, as the dawn starts to break
The lonely man's tango comes to an end, for heaven's sake
Ā
He moves towards the window, with a heavy heart
Hoping that someone will come and never depart
But as the sun rises, he realizes the truth
That he must continue dancing, alone, in his lonely booth.

Oh, such loneliness! Poetically written but also effectively written. I felt the pain as I read x
