Blue paintings

Inspired by Picasso

In an old house, so long abandoned
Blue paintings hang, all disenchanted

Once they were bright, and filled with life

But now they stand, battered by strife

Their colors faded, their canvas worn

A symbol of a life, tattered and torn

Their beauty lost, to the passing of time

Like a heart once full, now resigned to its last chime

Each brush stroke, a memory in time

A life lived out, in the artist's mind

A story once told, through mere paint and hue

But now it's ended, with nothing left to do

The blue paintings, an ode to the past

A haunting reminder, that nothing lasts

And like the artist, they too have gone

Leaving only memories, to carry on

In that old house, those paintings hang

A silent tribute, to a life so pained

The brush strokes now just a memory

Of a life lived out in bittersweet misery.
