Lonely Melodies

I sit on the roof
Staring up at the sky
Playing a lullaby
As I try to be bulletproof
With a blade in my hand
And blood on the floor
I call for you,
And you make life
Worth fighting for
So, I replace the blade with a pick
And hope it will stick
I sing these tunes
As I sit in my tree
Guitar in my arms
And a song in my heart
I sit in the trees
and play my songs
Then I see you climb up next to me
And with me,
Sing my Lonely Melodies

Sing life's sonata,
not the cacophony of the world.
THAT GIRL WHO SITS ALONE
Do you see her over there? That girl as white as bone,
I see her over there, keeping herself alone.
Never pay her any heed,
smitten we are with Our creed.
She needn't attention, nor time of day,
if she talks to you, send her away.
you're with us now, you don't need her,
come away and join us sir.
we sit around and tap our phones,
Ignoring the girl who's white as bones.
I say no. I leave the group and start to walk,
to tell that girl I want to talk.
She turns around with tears in her eyes,
and thanks me through her sobbing cries.
Love all And be Loved, (Flowerpot)
Thanks bro bro. You're awesome! :D
Always Happy to be the one to walk over.
Hello Adriana...
Great Poem!
She traded the blade for a pick...
If people found their personal gifts that makes them happy...
Once that seed blooms...
It should be highly contagious to all who are near...
But, there are those that will try to be negative...
We must remain positive and strong...
We all have our own destiny...
Thank you for sharing...
Hugs...
