Poem -

Long distance

I rest my head on my pillow,

And pretend it's your warm chest.

Because maybe if you were here,

My heart would ache less.

I wrap myself in my sheets,

And pretend it's your arms,

Because maybe if you were here,

Things won't be so bad.

I close my eyes and sigh,

And pretend the miles don't exist,

Because they overwhelm me completely,

All I want is to feel your kiss.

I wish I could unravel,

Fabrics in between,

Tear the distance,

And bring you close,

For every beep,

I think it's you,

I hate my phone,

When it's not you.

Every look at the stars,

I think of you,

Wishing I could see their light,

Reflect in your eyes,

Stay up late wondering,

How could thousand of miles not drive you out of my heart!
