Long Gone

Long Gone

A way out
A serene end
No more time here
That I need to spend
Finding my way out
The door is open
No strength left to shout
The gun is loaded.
No one saw my distress.
I hid it.
Everyone will be surprised
That I did it.
I know it's selfish
To think this way
Today was the last straw; the last day.
Farewell, I'm sorry, forgive me
But I'm already gone
Submerged, drowning, in an infinite dead sea.
